Hello My Crochet Friends!

I warmly greet you in the new year and I wish it to be a little better than the old one, I wish you good health and also lots of new skeins for creative creation.

And what did Santa give you? Did you find any skeins under the tree? What about your crocheted and knitted presents? Were they successful? I also gave "soft" gifts to my family and friends, and I am very happy that they were pleased with the gifts!

And I have to brag a little to begin with. My daughter wanted balls from Alize Puffy, and right after unpacking the package, we came up with the pattern, measured the size and started creating. In a while, an amazing mountain teddy bear ski helmet was ready. The teddy bear balaclava was a huge hit on the slopes and it looks like I'll have to make animal balaclavas for my boys as well. I will prepare an easy guide for you, you will have the hood ready in the evening, of course you can wear it without a helmet and winter is not over yet, so you can please your children or grandchildren.

So many things happened again in December and we will talk about them in my report and monthly review.

These are events not only full of crocheting, creation, creativity, but also the shared joy of beautiful products. Of course, I visited the Vlnika store and chose balls and things to create, I asked about news and new colors. And I'm here again for you with a new vlog!

NEW TEMPERATURE PROJECT HAS JUST STARTED

I started the new year cheerfully, colorfully and creatively - with a temperature project - a crocheted velvet pillow - a rainbow fish. The pillow has a circular shape, and when we finish crocheting it, we will connect the two circles together, sew them together, sew the mouth and tail and stuff them.

But in the meantime, we have to crochet 54 scales according to the measured highest temperature in that given week and according to the selected color temperature scale. The pillow is crocheted with the beautiful Samet Soft Fine yarn and I'm so glad I chose it because the pillow is nice and soft and the yarn has beautiful bright colors. What about you? One color temperature scale per week? That is a challenge! I will look forward to you starting crocheting with me and showing off your pillows in a year.

EVENTS - FAIRS AND MARKETS

I have visited several Christmas fairs and markets and I have to say that you have my admiration for all those who sell at the markets. For example, my friend Katka, who crochets, knits, sews and creates a lot of wonderful things, was selling at the Letna markets and hats off to how many products she had prepared. CROCHETING TOGETHER - A MEETING OF CROCHETERS AND KNITTERS MCHACEK

We crocheted and knitted together again at the meeting of the McHacek group. I always admire how much the girls manage to make since the last meeting! The next meeting will be on 9th January on a Tuesday afternoon and I'm looking forward to talking about what everyone made over the Christmas holidays.
