We're enjoying beautiful sunny days here, and I'm loving every moment of crocheting various blouses and tops. I often layer such tops, filled with charming little holes, over tank tops or T-shirts, dresses, or swimsuits. Today, I'm excited to share a quick and easy top pattern with you all. It's so simple that even beginners can master it in just one afternoon!
Give this delightful mesh v-stitch pattern, crafted from double crochets and chain stitches, a try. The top is crocheted from side to side, leaving space for the neckline in the center. This TRENDY CROCHET TOP is not only super fun to make but also fairly quick to crochet.
With just 2 rows to remember and repeat, you'll be done in no time! The top is crocheted from the side to side, working in rows, making it grow rapidly.
If you need to adjust the size, simply change the number of chains and rows and stitches in each row.

What will you need to crochet this CROCHET TOP?
The TOP is crocheted using yarn: SISI

100 g / 120 m, 50 acrylic + 45 polyester + 5% wool

PATTERN NOTES
1)This Crocheted MESH TOP is designed in women's size M as a top with a classic cut, perfect for wearing over a T-shirt or tank top.
2)The mesh top is crocheted in a simple rectangle style from side to side, allowing you to try on the fit as you crochet and adjust the size accordingly.
3)The instructions use chain stitches and double crochets to create a simple v-stitch pattern. If you're new to crocheting mesh tops, you'll find this pattern easy to follow.
4)While the tutorial demonstrates a classic fit, you can easily achieve a body fit style by crocheting a size down. Additionally, you can adjust the length of the top by crocheting more chains when you start a foundation chain, you can also adjust the width of the top by crocheting more rows on the "body" section.
5) A Ch 3 at beg of the row doesn't count as a stitch, start every row with ch3
6)This top is crocheted in rows back and forth. I start the row with the 3 chains at beg and it ends with a "v-stitch" into a "v-stich". Turn your work after completing each row.

CONSTRUCTION
How to crochet this mesh top:
This top is worked seamlessly as a one piece from the side to side, in a classic - rectangle - style.
I really love this type of construction, the size is super easy to adjust!
One of the great things about rectangle crochet mesh top is that you can try them on as you go and adjust the size to your liking. This type of construction is perfect for beginners looking to try simple patterns.

WRITTEN PATTERN
Make a foundation chain: 79 chains
You can change more or less chains, just make sure the number is a multiple of 3 + 1
Left part:
R1: (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in 4th chain from crochet hook *sk ch2, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in next ch* repeat till end of row, turn (26 chsp)
R2: ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in each chsp till end of row, turn (26 chsp)
R3 - R11: Repeat R2
Neckline:
R12: ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in next 13 chsp, sk 5 chsp, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in next 8 chsp, turn
Right part:
R13: ch3, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in each chsp till you reach a chain, *sk ch2, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in next ch* repeat till end of a chain, sk last 2ch, (1dc, ch2, 1dc) in each chsp till end of row, turn
R14-R23 repeat R2
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Finishing: Sew the sides - sew the front and back panels together. Start sewing from the bottom upwards, I sewed 8 "v-stitches". Leave 5 "v-stitches" unsewn as a armhole.
Sew the panels on the opposite side in the same way.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
