So let me now get started and tell you what you will need in order to crochet this EASY REVERSIBLE SLOUCHY MELANGE WOOL HAT FOR EVERYONE
This CROCHET EASY REVERSIBLE SLOUCHY MELANGE WOOL HAT FOR EVERYONE is very fun and quick to make.
The pattern uses only basic crochet stitch - single and double crochet stitches.
This easy-to-fit BEANIE is a crocheter's dream, made with the SINGLE AND DOUBLE CROCHET stitches ONLY! The beanie is worked from top down, worked in closed rounds.
I am including CHILD size and you can easily change the sizing by making the BEANIE smaller or bigger.

For this BEANIE you will need ONLY ONE BALL of KARTOPU MELANGE WOOL yarn.
This yarn made from wool-acrylic, so it’s super soft, pleasant, affordable, and really easy to care for. It is high quality yarn, ideal for knitting and crocheting warmer models.
Yarn Weight: Medium #3
Yardage: 100gr / 170m, 80 % acrylic + 20% wool
Scissors and tapestry needle
Crochet hook: 5.5 mm
Difficulty Level: Level 1 – Easy, for beginners

SlSt – slip stitch
CH/s – chain/s
SC - single crochet
DS - double crochet
BLO - back loop only

CROCHET EASY REVERSIBLE SLOUCHY MELANGE WOOL HAT FOR EVERYONE
Pattern Notes
1) The written pattern below is for KIDS size, these can be easily adapted to a smaller size or bigger size just by reducing or increasing the numbers of stitches and as well as less or more numbers of rows. Remember that when making bigger hat size, you will need more yarn.
Size:
Head measurement: 20.5 inch / 53 cm
Head circumference: 18.5 inch / 48 cm
Had length: 10.5 inch / 27 cm
*Measurements are taken from the garment lying flat, before the yarn has stretched out/dropped.
2) This SLOUCHY BEANIE is crocheted in closed rounds from the top down. Since the crochet slouchy hat is worked in rounds top down, which makes the pattern hat for a beginner to try.
3) CLOSED ROUNDS. The slouchy hat is worked in closed rounds, which means that you will be joining the last stitch of the round with the first one with a slip stitch. When you reach the beg of row, make a slip stitch on top of first stitch and then continue working in stitches from the previous round.
5) CONTINUES ROUNDS - the last 3 rounds are worked up in continuous rounds, which means that you will not be joining the last stitch of the round with the first one. Instead you will need to keep track of where each round started and how many stitches you have made because after each round you will continue right on to the stitches of the next round (with no join). It is useful to use a stitch marker or piece of yarn to mark the start or end of each round.
4) A Ch 1 at beg of the row doesn‘t count as stitch
5) Magic ring = the starting point for crocheting in a spiral. Use which ever method you prefer.
6) ( ) – The number of stitches that should be in a completed round/row are placed in brackets at the end of that round’s/row’s instructions.

R3: ch1, 2sc BLO in 1st st, 1sc BLO in next st, *2sc BLO in next st, 1sc BLO in next st* repeat from * to * around, close round with sl st to top of 1st st, TURN (18)
R4: ch1, 2dc BLO in 1st st, 1dc BLO in next 2 st, *2dc BLO in next st, 1dc BLO in next 2 st* repeat from * to * around, close round with sl st to top of 1st st, TURN (24)

R8: ch1, 2dc BLO in 1st st, 1dc BLO in next 6 st, *2dc BLO in next st, 1dc BLO in next 6 st* repeat from * to * around, close round with sl st to top of 1st st, TURN (48)
R9: ch1, 1sc BLO in 1st st, *1sc BLO in next st* repeat from * to * around, close round with sl st to top of 1st st, TURN (48)
R10: ch1, 1dc BLO in 1st st, *1dc BLO in next st* repeat from * to * around, close round with sl st to top of 1st st, TURN (48)
R11 - R23: Repeat rows R9-R10 till you are satisfied with the length
SINGLE CROCHET BORDER
The same yarn and the same crochet hook.
Work in continues rounds.
R24 - R25: 1sc in each st around, don't turn your work, don't join round with sl st (48)
Optionally: R26: 1sl st in each st around (48)
Cut the yarn, weave in the ends.
