today's tutorial will not be about crochet, but about simple embroidery.

I have prepared a short video tutorial for you on how to embroider a mini handbag or wallet on a plastic canvas.

This method is very simple and even someone who has no experience with embroidery can make such a small handbag.

Plastic canvas can be purchased in a variety of sizes. I chose the smallest one for this tutorial. And you can also choose the yarn you like - the important thing is that the yarn can be pulled through the plastic grid and at the same time it covers the grid.

For this mini bag, I chose Simli Kristal yarn, an original yarn, effective, shaggy and with a shiny fiber. I have good experience with this yarn, both from crocheting a scarf:

The bag has a simple magnetic closure in the middle of the bag. You can also replace the magnet with a button or a loop, depending on your taste.

I also decorated the bag with a brooch, which I liked and I think it goes well with the style of the bag and the yarn.

The handbag is great, for example, for the theater, for an important event, for a nice dinner or a party.

I believe that you will like the embroidery and the handbag will make you happy, and maybe we will make another handbag together.

EMBROIDERY ELEGANT MINI HAND BAG ON PLASTIC CANVAS - DIRECTIONS 

When trying to decide on a yarn for this Mini Hand Bag I knew I wanted something sparkling and soft. I chose

Ayaz Simli Kristal

Skein: 100g, 200m, 75% polyester, 25% metallic thread  

For this small size bag you will need a half of ball.

Scissors and sewing or tapestry needle

Size: mini bag 

EMBROIDERY ELEGANT MINI HAND BAG ON PLASTIC CANVAS

PATTERN NOTES:

1) The pattern can easily be adapted to a smaller or larger purse, or you can adapt the pattern to larger or smaller squares.

2) This handbag is embroidered in rows, in a row there are embroidered squares of 4 lines, once there are 4 lines vertically and then 4 lines horizontally. Make sure that the yarn covers the plastic grid on both front and back sides.

3) The bag is sewn on the sides, all sides are sewn so that the plastic edge is not visible anywhere.

4) Size of the handbag after stitching:

width: 19 cm
height: 12 cm
bottom depth: 5 cm

5) The bag has a magnet sewn into the center of the front part for fastening. The handbag is decorated with a brooch with stones.
