Crochet Amigurumi Ice Cream KeyChain
Hello My Crochet Friends!
Who loves Ice Cream? I have a crochet ice cream pattern for you!
These colorful ice creams are crocheted according to the pattern from my wonderful friend, Miluska. She was so nice nad shared her great instructions with me. I was very happy to try her instructions and with her permission I am sharing them with you.
Crocheted toys like key rings will delight everyone - from children to adults - and as sunny days are approaching, ice creams toys will be trendy again!
It is quite easy to crochet these ice creams, it is a toy that consists of 2 parts crocheted together. One part is a cone and the other part is the ice cream itself. You can also decorate the ice cream with some sprinkles or toppings.
I enjoy crocheting different colored ice creams according to flavors, raspberry, smurf, chocolate, lemon, blueberry, apricot... which is your favorite?
And because crocheted small ice creams are easy and quick to crochet, they can also be a great gift for children, for example on Children's Day or for school and kindergarten.
Even beginners can crochet these ice creams.
You can also choose colors from various leftover cotton yarns or yarns you like to crochet toys with.
Have fun choosing colors and flavors, crocheting and gifting your loved ones!

3. Do not complete the stitch as normal.
4. Instead, insert the hook into the next stitch.
5. Yarn over and draw through the loop.
6. There should now be three loops on your hook
7. Yarn over and draw through all three loops on the hook
8. You should now have two single crochet stitches side-by-side, joined together into one stitch at the top.
This pattern requires familiarity with stitches used, attaching yarn, sewing parts together with a sewing needle.

PATTERN NOTES
1) A ch1 at beg of the row DOESN'T count as a stitch
2) Magic ring = the starting point for crocheting in a spiral. Use which ever method you prefer.
3) Continuous rounds - CONE + SCOOP is worked up in continuous rounds, which means that you will not be joining the last stitch of the round with the first one. Instead you will need to keep track of where each round started and how many stitches you have made because after each round you will continue right on to the stitches of the next round (with no join). It is useful to use a stitch marker or piece of yarn to mark the start or end of each round.
4) ( ) – The number of stitches that should be in a completed round/row are placed in brackets at the end of that round’s/row’s instructions.
5) This CROCHET AMIGURUMI ICE CREAMS KEYCHAIN Amigurumi measures:
length: 10 cm / 4 inch
width: 6 cm / 2.34 inch
The finished size will depend on what yarn you use, as well as your tension and hook (as with any amigurumi).
6) You can make the CROCHET AMIGURUMI ICE CREAMS KEYCHAIN bigger with a thicker yarn or a larger hook size.

NOTE: don’t cut the yarn, let’s join both parts together.
Stuff the CONE and ICE CREAM SCOOP well.
STUFFING
The exact moment for starting filling and stuffing the toy depends on every single person. I prefer filling the toy with the work almost finished. It’s a bit more difficult to fill, but more comfortable to crochet. You should make proofs until finding the more suitable moment of filling for you.
Stuff head and body firmly and full. Shape as you stuff, make sure to shape the nose too.
Use a stuffing stick or the back end of a pencil to push the stuffing into the right spots.
FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure the cone and the scoop is stuffed well before joining these parts together, but not so firm that you can see the stuffing through the stitches. Work around the entire round.
Start joining with single crochets.
Insert the hook into the single crochet on the ICE CREAM part and straight into the single crochet on the cone part and crochet a single crochet.
A total of 24 single crochet stitches around.
Stuff more if needed before finishing closing the round.
Close the round with a slip stitch.
Let's crochet the ending: repeat around *1sc into the next st, skip 1sc, (1hdc, 2dc, 1hdc) into the next st, skip 1sc. Make a total of 6 loops.
Close the round with a slip stitch.
Cut yarn and fasten off and wave all ends in.
And voila! You made an cute AMIGURUMI ICE CREAMS KEYCHAIN!
